Where this connects to the valley
Two of the park buildings here carry names out of Wagner, and anyone who knows the operas will see it in the names: Hunding’s Hut and the Hermitage of Gurnemanz. The opening hours for both are set out on the park buildings page.
The other connection is the Venus Grotto, built between 1875 and 1877 under an opera set designer, which is exactly what it looks like when you are standing in it. The grotto has the construction, the electricity and the restoration.
