Every tour card, every booking widget and every “check availability” button. They carry rel="nofollow noopener" and open in a new tab. Nothing else here is paid for, sponsored or exchanged: no operator has paid to appear, pages are written independently of operators.

How this site is funded and how listings appear

Three things on this site show how listings are presented.

First, the palace’s own tariff is printed here in full, on tickets, with the instruction to buy at the window. The palace charges about eleven euros.

Second, getting there tells you about the public bus from Oberammergau, which is the way to reach this palace independently, and that page is linked from every other one.

Third, the pages that look closely at a listing look at it in full. One listing with Linderhof in its title gets a whole page about the fact that its own exclusions say the Linderhof stop is usually from the outside. Another gets a page that opens by noting it has no reviews yet.

What is not affected

Which listings appear. All twenty-one in the catalogue are on all tours, including the five that carry no rating and the six with no written review under them, and including three Neuschwanstein tickets for the other half of the day. Every listing is included.

And what the pages say. The ratings, the rating counts and the two lists from each listing’s own page are reproduced as they stand. How that is done is on editorial policy.

What the palace gets

Nothing, and no relationship either way. Schloss Linderhof is owned by the Free State of Bavaria and run by the Bayerische Schlösserverwaltung, which sells its own tickets at its own ticket office.
